im hoping for the best.i also just found my ecu throwing an old code 34(i assume its old because when i first got the code i relocated the knock sensor.and since then ive had no check engine light).i think i reset it wrong last time via unplugging the battery.this time i did it right, turning the potentiometer back and forth twice.got the code 55.but i feel like last time i got a 55 too after unplugging the battery.anyways, my car hasnt to my knowledge been in safety boost.when i first got the code it was an obvious thing.but recently i havent noticed a huge difference in the drive-ability.i really hope that between fixing my timing,clearing that code, and putting the vtc and knock sensor connections in their right places, i'll be able to pass this damn smog test so i can get on with installing my one piece ds/short shifter/and zspeed support brace.my stock shifter bushing are probably not even there anymore, and im sure my center carrier bearing is straight up blown.
